The only thing we were able to find out about the bookstore of Anni Liljefors was the name and the phone number of the bookstore in the telephone directory of the year 1905. It sold at least school books (Skolbokshandeln / Koulukirjakauppa). So we can verify that the bookstore existed but no other information was found.

I am sorry to say that we could not find any direct answers to your question. Probably the wedding was not as enormous publicity event in Finland as in Australia.
Some information of the father of Olaf Hultin, Arvid Hultin, we found rather easily - for instance, he was not a professor at classics, but a librarian in the University Library of Helsinki (or National Library of Finland, as it is nowadays called) and in addition a researcher of literature. It might be possible that the National Library might have some archives of their former employees and there might be more information on his descendants. Adult Education Centre in Jyväskylä (in the City Library building, Vapaudenkatu 39-41) has Finnish for foreigners courses. I am not sure if they have courses in the summertime, but they will have next autumn (enrolment in August). Last semester they used a book called Hyvin menee, but the book for the next semester has not been decided.

You will find our bibliographic database at http://www.libplussa.fi/#en .
Go to the "Basic search" . Choose "Subject heading or class" and type "Kuuba" as search word. In the menu "Display All kinds of items" choose "Only CDs". Search.
(Unfortunately you have to use subject headings in Finnish, because our bibliographic records are in Finnish. If you choose title search you can also type Cuba# in English - note the truncation mark - but in that case you will get less references and not all of them are necessarily relevant.)
In the database you will also see the availability of the CDs in different libraries. The largest music collections in general are at Pasila Music Station, Töölö, Itäkeskus and Kallio libraries.

In Finnish libraries, there are only few volunteers, and it’s usually necessary that they can speak Finnish. I don’t know if there have been any EVS volunteers in Finnish libraries, but you are free to try by contacting libraries. Each library has its own volunteering policy, so you should send email those libraries you are interested in. Seija lived over 30 years after that. She died 9.12.1997.
Norwegian teacher and writer Ola Tungesvik has written a book: Jos vain saan olla onnellinen... (Om jeg får vaere lykkelig...) and that book tells about Seija, too. Gunnar Mattsson died 1989. Ola and Seija had seven happy years together before Seija died.

Auni Nuolivaaras trilogy Paimen, piika ja emäntä (1936), Isäntä ja emäntä (1937) and Päivä ja ehtoo (1938) tells the story of Katri. Katri lives in Finnish countryside in the 19th century. She is a shepherd girl who became a mistress of a big house.
None of Nuolivaaras books have been translated in English.
