In Turku public libraries, do teachers have to take 1st grade school children to the libraries to make children their library cards? In Helsinki, I think so… 42 A first grader can get a library card with a library card application form that one of the parents/guardians has filled in and signed. A teacher can not sign the form on behalf of the parent/guardian. The form can also be found online on our website vaski.finna.fi. A child can get a library card when visiting a library with a teacher if they have the signed form with them. The card has to be retrieved from a library, we do not deliver them to schools.
What steps should I take if a book I loaned out is now damaged and cannot be returned? 21 Hi! Contact a Helmet library directly to discuss how to proceed. If the book is damaged and no longer viable for returning, it must be compensated with the purchase price. Usually it's also possible to arrange compensation with a new copy of the book.  You can find instructions in the Helmet Troubleshooting FAQ.

Can u give the information about the "researchers dig into hell" which they heard a sound from hell. can you give me the information. Thank you. There's an… 850 Hello there! Because you know so exactly the name of the article you can give us little bit more information where you have heard about it. I searched with Internet search services and some other sources - no result. If I may say my opinion this "article" is more like a short story or novel than research or fact. Kind of a horror story If I may guess. So we here in the library try to search it from fiction shelves. Little bit extra information from your side couldn't do any harm. With regards Librarian
