After consulting the history of Kuusamo, only in finnish, I am sad to say, I can inform you, that Kyrkbyn, which means Kirkonkylä in finnish and actually Church village was situated where Kuusamo center is today.
Kirkonkylä was allways very small with only four houses, the priest and other church officals lived there.
The village was complety destroid during the War in Lapland, World war II, and rebuilt in the fifties. A big hotel was constructed there The Hotelli Kuusamo.

Modern libraries in Finland, the Helmet area, and Helsinki specifically, have been described as living rooms for the citizens. We loan out various material, but also offer services on location, and organize events for and by the city residents. At a Helmet library one can loan out a blood pressure monitor, a radon meter, or a power drill. At the library you can use a computer, a 3D printer, or a sewing machine. Events vary from reading fairy tales for children, to reading groups, to music and movies.

We don't offer library courses. You have to have a degree on information and libraries studies or business school level information studies to work in a library.

You are right - it isn't easy to find material in English on handicapped/disabled people in Finland. Something, however, can be found on the Internet, though most sites are only in Finnish and Swedish. You don't specify what sort of information you need or for what purpose, but I will try to give you some links:

In short, Finland and Germany were allies from 1941 to 1944. During that time German troops were based in Finland, but the country retained an independent democratic government and was never occupied. The co-operation ended in 1944, and Finland declared war on Germany.

Translation isn't easy. In most cases, you need to know more how and where the sentence is used. Like in this case: what kind of boundary is being set and maintained? A literal boundary line between neighbours or countries? More abstract concept, like personal boundaries in a certain situation?
Perhaps "Asettaa ja ylläpitää rajoja" would work in both cases? If this is about personal boundaries, I might add a possessive affix.
All Helsinki City Libraries have a choice of videos in English available for borrowing. The library in Espoo has a wide range of employees. Some of us are library professionals, some are youth instructors or teachers, some are other professionals who have popped into the library. We also have a lot of short-term employees: trainees, apprentices and men performing civilian service. We are constantly getting to know new people, ideas and ways of working. You can renew your loans twice online. Go to our home page http://borzoi.kirja.turku.fi:80/Intro?cust=853A&formid=form1&sesid=1004…
and choose "loans". Then you have to give your customer identification code (your library card) and password in order to sign on (if yo don't have a password yet, you will get it from any library in Turku City Library). Now you can renew your loans by selecting the loans you want to renew and clicking on "renew selected loans". The renewed loans are placed at the end of the list.
