I am writing a paper about how the great depression changed the way the american public see themselves and their country. I am interested in how national identity changed from the twenties and into the thirties. I would very much appreciate it if you could give me some pointers as to where I might find the ínformation I need. I would especially appreciate it if you could give me the title of a dissertation/article/paper that deals with this subject, as I might get both useful information and a useful bibliogrphy from those. I am hoping that you will get the time to answer question, and I am looking forward to your reply!

I guess you'd have more useful info if you contact any American information service, but we could gather something for you, though the texts themselves are mostly American anyway. In the Finnish university libraries' database I could find a couple of books.
