Suomalainen Tieto Oyj ja ruotsalainen Enator AB (publ) yhdistyivät 7.7.1999. Yhtiö muutti nimensä jälleen Tieto Oyj:ksi 26.3.2009. Enemmän Tiedon ja Enatorin historiasta voi lukea Tieto Oyj:n sivuilta http://www.tieto.fi/tiedosta/historia
