I am a writer living in Mexico in need of information about the Finnish police, their hierarchy, their titles, especially who would be in charge of a murder investigation. My Finnish is rusty, and I don't know how to translate barely remembered police titles into English. A reply would greatly be appreciate.

Society (www.dekkariseura.fi/eng)is a organization for all frieds of
detective stories and crime fiction. The Finnish Police (www.poliisi.fi)
may also help you (I´m not sure).
